P'cola to Bloomington in a Fiat X1-9, close to a bike though - heck some of the Wings I see have more capacity than that little skate. Oh then I drove it non-stop to Phoenix from Bloomington. Had to get back to work after the USGP at Laguna Seca. Unfortunetly most of it was on boring I-5. Have done US-1 / 101 a few times but those we usually do in 2 days when heading to and from the races.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Mark on September 1, 2009 at 11:27pm: 550, from Newark, Ohio to Mackinac, Michigan. I wanted to see the bridge and I had to do the miles if I wanted to do it in 2 days. I would prefer not to ride that many miles in one day though. 350 is plenty on my bike.

My last long trip was a ride from Newark, Ohio to Maryland, about 460 miles, but it was heavy, heavy rain the entire way. Miserable ride, but fun once I got there.; ▶ Reply to This
