I'm wrapping up some loose ends at work and getting almost giddy about vacation. I'm all packed up and ready to leave from work to go on two weeks of motorcycle road trip. Tuesday 03/31 I'm going up to Duluth, MN to pick up some riding boots at a company called Aerostitch. It's time to break down and buy some. I've always used regular work boots or saddle boots and kept them doped up with mink oil or repellent for road trips because I didn't have enough space to pack anything more than 1 pair of shoes regardless of whether I'm on or off the bike. A few weekends ago I drove a couple hours up to a track here in Minnesota called Brainerd International Raceway - BIR as locals call it. They were celebrating their 40th anniversary and basically had open track days for every class of car or bike imaginable.
